This weekend is FULL of FIREWORKS literally! Enjoy them from your very own spot on the river, a kayak! Venture Outdoors has two back to back nights of Fireworks Paddles this weekend both starting at Kayak Pittsburgh Downtown.
Saturday’s Fireworks Paddle
On Saturday night’s fireworks paddle you’ll see the fireworks following the Pirates game against Philly. You’ll take a leisurely paddle up the Allegheny River and float back down towards PNC Park in time for the fireworks show. Once the ball game is over, it is time to sit back, relax and marvel at the fireworks. You will feel all the BOOMS and POPS from the vibrating water rushing through your body from your front row seat.

Sunday’s Fourth of July Fireworks Paddle
Sunday night is Venture Outdoors’ annual Fourth of July Paddle. It’s our biggest and best public program of the year, and rightly so. The fireworks on the 4th are the longest and biggest display of the year! Starting at 7PM we will take a leisurely paddle upstream and as the sun sets we will float back down to the Point to take our place in the front for the best fireworks display in Pittsburgh! Seats are going fast, reserve you spot today!
